This fragrance is ranked quite high among both men and women even though it smells totally unconventionally oriental.
This is a beautiful oud scent that is not too intense. Some liken this to Velvet Desert Oud by Dolce & Gabanna and I can see where they are coming from, there is definitely a familiarity there. It’s smokey, woody and musky with warm tones of amber coming through. The musk adds a touch of delicacy to the scent and I would describe this as an understated and subtle oud.
This will add a touch of luxury to any perfume closet whilst having a tiny price tag. Unusual to find such luxury at such a crazy low price. 
Hay, dry herbs, stump filled lemongrass. Quite intense, quite indefinable. Velvet oud is well worn in spring, summer weather. Velvet Oud is remarkable in intensity, through citrus notes from the beginning that turn into contact with the skin in something much deeper.
This fragrance is ideal for that special night out where you want to be noticed.
